About the role:
The Principal Product Manager will serve as a strategic partner, key advisor, and operational leader for the Cardiology Marketing & Digital Enablement (CMDE) team. The Principal Product Manager will be the Vice President's right-hand person, playing a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s leadership by overseeing strategic initiatives, fostering cross-functional alignment, and ensuring effective governance. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, project management, and a deep commitment to fostering a cohesive, collaborative culture across the organization.
This individual will be based out of our Maple Grove, MN location. This role has a hybrid work mode, with expectations of being in the office 3 days per week.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with leadership to define strategic direction, champion organizational culture, and drive future business planning to support long-term success.
- Serve as key partner the VP, providing strategic insights and connection points across cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate AOP and Strategic Planning processes for the CMDE organization
- Establish and manage key communication channels and stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment across the organization and strengthen strategic partnerships.
- Develop, monitor, and communicate on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess organizational performance and key initiative success.
- Proactively identify risks, gaps, and future organizational needs, advising leadership on opportunities to preempt challenges.
- Partner with PMO and franchise teams to enable governance and reporting forums to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Collaborate closely with finance and PMO to create streamlined processes for budget and headcount management as well as conducting monthly reviews to ensure investments remain aligned with organizational priorities.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or healthcare-related field
- 8+ years experience in commercial facing role in the Healthcare industry
- Strong executive presence, prior experience communicating with and presenting to all levels of leadership and able to tailor communications to the audience
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of managing large projects with complex interdependencies
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior leadership, teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated change management skills with ability to lead, advocate, influence, and collaborate across various functions at all levels
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
