We are seeking a motivated, mission-oriented Data Architect to work with our MEDLOG IT PMO customer at Ft. Detrick in Frederick, MD.  This detail-oriented individual is obsessed with accuracy, and able to accept critical feedback because they are always looking to produce the highest quality outcome.

This individual will also be an imperative part of the Shelf Life Extension Program (SLEP) Implementation team for integrating SLEP capabilities into LogiCole.  Specifically, we are looking for someone that can work well with a cross-functional team to ensure the team remains accountable to the work that needs to be accomplished. 

The program is based in Fort Detrick, Maryland. This position is on-site three days per week, but expanded telework options are available for exceptional candidates on a case-by-case basis. 

What You Will Do:

• Support full SDLC services for SLEP defined priorities to include design, development, test, verification, network, organization, and access changes
• Communicate well on all levels to various government and contractor support personnel including Developers, Business Analysts, Testers, Engineers, Operations Administrators, and Leadership.
• Plan, develop and implement improvements, new features and changes to existing SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Integrate SLEP organizations into LogiCole organizational structure.
• Migrate SLEP on-hand inventory balances into LogiCole.
• Be able to operate independently as well as seamlessly with the team to complete the mission
• Work with external partners to gather requirements.

What You Will Need:

• A Bachelor's degree and a Minimum of FOUR (4) years of relevant experience (formal education or advanced degree may be substituted for relevant experience)
• Proficiency developing, documenting, and modeling SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience implementing foreign key scripts in MongoDB for relational databases
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in SQL, JavaScript, Python, Powershell or similar programming language.
• Experience using DevOps tools and principals.
• Experience applying Agile design methodology and tools (e.g., Jira).
• Experience or knowledge of SAFe.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience with JSON
• Experience with tools such as Erwin and Hackolade
• Experience with Defense Medical Logistics – Enterprise Support applications and support of DoD medical treatment facilities.

The annual salary range for this position is $87,100.00-$130,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
