Job Description:
The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Finance, Bureau of Budget and Cash Management is seeking to hire a Medical Managed Care Budget and Cash Management Supervisor. This position plans, directs, and evaluates the activities of the Illinois Medical Care Budgeting and Cash Management programs, directs the development, request, and defense of the Department’s budget for the programs, and reviews and approves programmatic and fiscal responses to inquiries from the Legislature and various special interest groups relating to the programs. The Medical Managed Care Budget and Cash Management Supervisor also directs all aspects of cash management activities, confers with the unit section supervisor, Bureau Chief, Deputy Division Administrator, and other upper management Department personnel, and establishes and maintains working relationships in liaison activities with other divisions and bureaus in State government, along with outside organizations and providers. This position is a working supervisor and is responsible for directing the projection of federal matching revenue funds for the Medical Assistance Program.
