The Nurse’s primary purpose is to provide medical oversight, care, education, and guidance to the youth in their care. Performance will be measured by your individual outcomes, achieving your individual targets/goals, your contribution to your overall program team/department and your buy-in to the culture of the organization.
- Medication administration oversight,
- Medical file record keeping
- Responding to client medical needs.
- Work directly with the psychiatrist to provide professional nursing care.
- Training in the morning for 4 days required
Requirements
What qualifications do you need?
- Must have a valid Driver License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in.
- Education requirement for this individual contributor role is: Associates Degree in Nursing or related field.
- No minimum # of years of relevant professional experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Requires a license as an RN in North Carolina.
- Flexibility to work Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm, weekends 8am-10pm, Split in 8 or 12 hr. shifts to cover department needs.
- Training in the morning for 4 days required
