As part of the Global Supply Chain Strategy & Systems team, the Sustainability Program Manager leads multiple projects in execution of supply chain environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy. In this role you will prioritize and implement process and digital solutions for integrating sustainability into global procurement practices. You will be required to collaborate across multiple functions to drive adoption of new systems and ongoing maturity to achieve sustainability goals. What You Will Do:
Lead the execution of multiple concurrent process and digital projects to integrate sustainability into cross-functional processes.
Align with stakeholders in development of key project deliverables: vision and scope, business case, requirements definition, future state definition, project schedule, resource management, support plan, change management, testing plan, training plan, deployment & stabilization plan, adoption, benefits realization.
Develop methods to track sustainability risk mapping and performance KPI’s, translate insights to sustainability forecasting and improvement actions, and report progress to operational sustainability goals.
Identify, conceptualize and execute communication/learning campaigns to inform, upskill and motivate key employee and value chain stakeholders.
Monitor program processes for effectiveness and apply CORE Operating System tools to drive process maturity and continuous improvement.
Maintain alignment of Collins Responsible Procurement policies to enterprise goals and sustainability reporting obligations and monitor adherence.
Develop and maintain subject matter expertise to support strategic evolution of the program.
Support sector collaboration through active participation in key industry associations.
Lead/Participate in Strategy & Systems CORE engagement teams.
Being part of the small central sustainability team will require adapting to new responsibilities as the role evolves and new strategies are developed.
Must be willing and able to travel 5% of the time
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
5+ years cross function project leadership experience
5+ years of supply chain or operations functional experience
Ability to coordinate and lead across multiple Collins strategic business units and with RTX counterparts
Qualifications We Prefer:
Ability to collaborate and influence across a wide range of stakeholders and levels of the organization
Experience implementing sustainability/ ESG strategies and risk management in a corporate environment
Familiarity with sustainability standards, reporting frameworks, and related global regulations
PMP certification with demonstrated understanding of project management principles
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), and translating insights to operational planning
