About the role

This position is responsible for the overall coordination of seamless care for patients through the development and implementation of a robust new employee onboarding program. They will partner with other subject matter experts to design, refine, and execute full-scale remote & in-clinic training for every new Medical Assistant in the Primary Care service line. In this role, the caregiver will need to have reliable transportation to all Swedish Clinic to provide support, guidance, and training as needed.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • 3 years of medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
  • 3 years of experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
  • 6 months working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years, OR 18 months experience in a Lead MA role in a clinical setting in lieu of.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
