Job Description
WJ Vehicle & Plant are currently looking for an HGV/Plant/Crane Technician who can join our team in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Responsibilities include designing, installing, and maintaining systems specific to the bodies of our HGVs.
What you will do:
- Refurbishment/Manufacturing of specialised road marking equipment mounted on HGV Chassis Including the following:
- Hydraulic systems
- Fuel Systems
- Pneumatic Systems
- Gas Systems
- Electrical Systems
- Carrying out of periodic maintenance /Diagnostic repairs of equipment
- Be involved in final Post Paint Assemble of equipment
Qualifications
What will you bring to the team?
- Self-motivated
- A good timekeeper
- Must have a good understanding of plant and vehicle systems
- Must have demonstrable experience in manufacturing and HGV engineering/fitting
- Be a good team player
- Flexible to carry out other duties as required
- Good practical ability working to high standard for new installations
- UK Driving Licence (HGV not essential but preferred)

About the Job:
Normal working hours are 7am - 4:30pm with overtime available on occasion where required.
