Victor Small Business is currently seeking a Senior Insurance Operations Specialist located in Columbia, South Carolina. Full time remote will be considered for the right candidate living outside the area, subject to minimal travel as needed.  

What can you expect?

You will strive to put our agent experience first.  You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the company’s insurance solutions. You will provide administrative and technical support to client-facing brokers and provide support to clients by responding to insurance transaction queries. In addition, you will provide transactional support on the issuance of policies and related documentation.

We will count on you to:

• Possess a reasonable level of insurance expertise, preferably in the commercial lines sector
• Drive timely and accurate production/processing of complex transactions, documents & information
• Review existing business for applicability and accuracy, create and manage production tickets to support agent portal
• Seek opportunities to improve the customer experience
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and serve as point of contact regarding any potential problems.
• Adhere to Company policies and performance standards
• Contribute to the achievement of Operations team Service Level Agreements (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and business objectives

What you need to have: 

• 3+ years of work experience
• 1-3 years’ work in the insurance industry
• Excellent organizational, time management, verbal, written, interpersonal, and business communication skills
• Good problem-solving and judgment capabilities with strong initiative
• Ability to effectively and accurately manage multiple tasks and projects, with a sense of urgency, and in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative work approach
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Powerpoint

What makes you stand out?

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree
• Working towards CPCU, CIC, ARM, and/or AU designations or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and ability
