Sr. Accountant

Senior Accountant 

As Storable continues to grow both organically and through strategic acquisitions, so too does our Accounting team. We are searching for a Senior Accountant with strong accounting skills, proven experience in a fast-paced and evolving environment, and a proactive mindset for process improvement. The ideal candidate will combine advanced Excel skills with sharp analytical thinking to drive efficiency and enhance our accounting operations.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and enjoys being a collaborative team player. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies, including preparation of assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and allowances.
• Support the month-end closing process, including revenue recognition and accounting for acquisition costs.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and established accounting policies.
• Assist internal and external audits by preparing schedules, supporting documentation, and detailed explanations as needed.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements, including automation of manual tasks, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA certification a plus (or actively pursuing certification).
• Prior experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite strongly preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex data analysis).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Detail-oriented self-starter who can work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
• Effective collaborator and team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Enthusiasm for process automation and driving efficiency to ensure data integrity.
• Salesforce experience is valued, especially in support of cross-functional collaboration and financial data integrity.
