As a Lead Data Architect you will help our clients navigate the complex world of modern data and analytics and help us grow our local competency and business in this area. This is a high growth area with plenty of opportunities to enhance your skillset and build your career and team around you.
Your key responsibilities will include
You will design, develop and implement data collection, transformation, and data integration solutions, and also create, coordinate and deploy data and analytics solutions. You’ll create and present the solution design through a solution design document and finally estimate for complexity, effort and costs. You’ll also collaborate with solution design and business requirements teams to identify data requirements and influence project artefacts and advise on data management practices, approaches and frameworks. In addition, you’ll demonstrate technical expertise in modern AI, analytics, big data and associated technologies, cloud platforms, data quality, governance and architecture.
In your daily work you’ll provide technical guidance as SME and as hands on delivery team member across multiple clients and engagements and lead technology consulting engagements, solution workshops and due diligence. You’ll contribute to thought leadership, and be a part of a culture that focuses on delivering excellence for our clients and work with an awesome team of people to work with and access to cutting edge technologies.
Skills and attributes for success
You have relevant data experience in a similar role with responsibilities as listed above as well as solid experience on Enterprise Data Warehouse integration and reporting developing modern data platform solutions, data governance, architecture frameworks and processes. You have hands-on experience in Big Data technologies and building end to end data pipelines using on-premise or cloud-based data platforms. In addition you have technical leadership and the ability to work with a wider group of architects, application teams and business teams to define and socialise architectural concepts and approaches.
To qualify for the role you must have
- English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication.
- Suitable academic background to help you succeed in Lead Data Architect role
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Finnish language skills are considered as an advantage.
- Certification in one of the cloud vendors (Microsoft preferred)
