ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a QA Technician to ensure the quality of our pilot builds and ensure our company remain compliant with industry regulations.

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Inspect, test, and approve incoming material for compliance with written methods and specifications (attention to detail is critical) and input inspection results into our Quality Management System as required.
  • Perform and participate in QA activities that include but are not limited to the following: receiving and inventory management, audit activities and assist with other departmental activities as needed and upon request.
  • Track manufacturing defects, issues, and resolutions reporting.
  • Communicate defects to production managers and suppliers as required.
  • Follows set guidelines and procedures for department/company processes.
  • Reading schematics and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards.
  • Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes.
  • Flagging products that don’t meet production standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality.
  • Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team.
  • Performing inspections at random to assess product quality.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as required while working at a dynamic company on the cusp of launching its first product.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in manufacturing assembly or quality inspection.
  • Experience using and inputting data into computerized systems.
  • Proficient with precision measurement devices such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
  • Comfortable handling non-conformities.
  • Able to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Strong record keeping skill
