Medtronic is looking for passionate and experienced self-starters to join our team in Billerica, MA! We currently have an opening for Sr. Manufacturing Supervisor for 2nd shift. In this role, you will be supporting Affera’s cardiac ablation unit with manufacturing. The role will also be supporting warehouse, logistics and packaging at the site. You will also support improvements in manufacturing quality, capacity, and stability through solving problems, developing solutions, and executing strategies. 

The position will be onsite in Billerica, MA from 2:00pm - 10:30pm M-F.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.

• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.

• Plans and administers procedures and budgets.

• Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.

• Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.

• Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.

• Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication Skills.

• Functional Skills: Machining and Manufacturing Technologies, Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Requires 3+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to Have

The following experience is extremely helpful to be successful in this role:

• Degree level education in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain related field MS/MBA preferred

• APICs CPIM/CSCP

• 5-7 years of experience of working in a Medical Device Supply Chain / Manufacturing environment

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling and analysis

• Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively as a leader and/or team member with cross-functional teams

• Ability to generate customer value - Listening, understanding, anticipating, and solving problems.

• Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence key stakeholders in a global and matrix organization environment

• Software skills including MS Office (Excel and Power BI focus)

• Working knowledge of SAP suite or other planning systems

• Demonstrated project management skills

• Experience implementing/ utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma techniques a plus.

• Knowledge of distribution planning, logistics, warehousing, or transportation a plus.
