Lion Street is a leading national financial services company owned by fiercely independent financial advisors who specialize in financial solutions for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, business owners, and corporate clients.

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role is in office Monday through Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

In this position, the Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and will assist with day-to-day tasks which will include but are not limited to:

• Daily Cash Receipts & Reporting

• Bank Deposits

• Cash Reconciliations

• Processing Accounts Payable Invoices

• Creating & Maintaining Vendor Files

• Processing & Reconciling Credit Card Statements

• Processing Expense Reports

• Managing Billings & Collections for Back Office division

• APS Reimbursement Billings

• Assisting Controller & Accounting Manager with Month-End Closing Process

• Ad Hoc Projects

Primary Skills & Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have up to 1-2 years' experience.  Entry Level welcome. 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field, required.

• Analytical skills are a must

• Microsoft software experience: Advanced Excel skill is preferred

• Strong communication skills, detail orientated, and effective time management is needed to work collaboratively with key personnel.

• A high level of professionalism
