Our Global Customer Experience (Technology & Solutions) team is looking for a Data Scientist II to join their team. This is a hybrid position in Arden Hills, MN. This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and make an impact to our growing Capital Equipment business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Interacts with the functional leads to understand all data requirements and translates them into data structures and data model requirements, where needed in collaboration with IT.
- Defines criteria for monitoring integrity of data modelling during projects.
- Drives data modelling and testing during projects.
- Carries out quality assurance of analytics tools & methods used in projects.
- Applies strong expertise in machine-learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype, and build the next-generation analytics.
- Apply best practices for analytics (models, standards, tools).
- Tracks impact of analytics on business.
- Works with senior leaders and business leaders providing technical guidance related to data architecture, data models and meta data management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics/Science, or a related area
- 3+ years of experience with key analytics tools: Tableau, PowerBI, ETL (Informatica, Alteryx)
- Experience with Customer Experience tools such as: SAP, SF.com, NiceIncontact
- Proven ability to work creatively and innovational
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Experience working successfully in cross functional teams
- Project Management skills
- Limited travel will be required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical Device industry experience
- Experience in the capital equipment space
- Good financial acumen
- Solution driven mindset
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
