This role is intentionally designed for a lean, asset-centric R&D environment. The leader will operate as a “Swiss Army knife,” personally executing across the full solution lifecycle—from scientific and clinical business partnership through solution design, configuration or development, testing, validation, deployment, and production support—while also managing vendors, budget, and a small internal team

The role serves as the primary IT partner for asset-focused R&D functions, including:

  • Medical Affairs
  • Medical Imaging
  • Clinical Operations
  • Regulatory Affairs
  • Research & Pharmaceutical Development (RPD)
  • Pharmacovigilance & Patient Safety
  • Clinical Science
  • Biomarkers
  • Biometrics / Data Sciences
  • Pharma Solutions & Asset Management

The ideal candidate brings a very hands-on all-round credibility in the R&D space across all the functions above, working with business and customer stakeholders for meeting business needs with technology, architectural and design leadership, hands-on development, scrappy and roll up your sleeve implementation expertise, providing solutions support for testing, post go-live support and validation activities throughout the lifecycle.

A successful candidate has a deep understanding of R&D asset lifecycles, key R&D applications and systems across the business portfolio, study strategies, regulatory and quality needs, development milestones and all R&D data needs including analytics and reporting needs, future focused R&D data products, AI and Gen AI use cases that bring tangible ROI to the R&D organization, translates scientific, clinical, imaging, safety, and regulatory needs into pragmatic, compliant technology solutions, has high level of influencing experience and successes in steering business partners towards standard IT solutions vs solutions they may prefer, and balances speed, quality, and compliance in a fast-moving radiopharmaceutical R&D environment.

This role will shape the enterprise’s R&D IT journey as R&D grows from a business standpoint across all business functions, integrates R&D focused organizations as part of Lantheus 3.0 and external business partners in CRO’s and similar organizations.

This position is based in Massachusetts and requires a presence on-site (two/three) days per week, and open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.
