Intern, Talent Acquisition Part time

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Intern to join our team part-time, supporting the team under our Manager, Talent Acquisition. This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, onboarding, and administrative support in reporting, managing databases, and HR systems. The ideal candidate will be passionate about recruiting, have a great work ethic and attitude, have a strong sense of organization, and value working as a team support.  Having an eye for identifying potential candidates that align with our company values and culture would also be of high value.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
• Maintain and update the candidate database, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
• Act as a point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates and feedback throughout the hiring process
• Assist in the pre-employment of all new hiring
• Perform various administrative duties to support the Talent Acquisition team, such as organizing recruitment events, preparing recruitment materials, and handling correspondence
• Assist in the preparation of regular recruitment reports, tracking key metrics such as application rates, time-to-hire, and source effectiveness
• Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the hiring process
• Support compliance reporting
• Provide sourcing efforts to the team as  needed

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Strong interest in talent acquisition and human resources
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Excel expert preferred
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
• Analytical skills and ability to interpret data effectively
• Able to work in the Austin office with the team for a minimum of 10 hours a week with a preference of 20 hours
