THE ROLE
As the RTW Production and Quality Control Specialist, you will manage the production lifecycle and ensure high-quality standards for apparel across a variety of products, including woven, tricot, and knit fabrics. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, monitor production processes, and enforce quality controls to deliver exceptional products. This position will report directly to the Head of Operations.
YOUR CHALLENGE

Product Expertise:
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of woven, tricot, and knit fabrics to guide production decisions and ensure quality alignment with design and performance requirements.
- Evaluate fabric and material specifications for technical accuracy and alignment with sustainability and quality standards.
- Work with suppliers to ensure appropriate handling and treatment of various fabric types during production.

Production Management:
- Plan and oversee production schedules for diverse apparel categories, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to cost objectives.
- Issue and manage purchase orders using the company’s ERP.
- Monitor supplier production capacity and compliance with agreed standards and timelines.
- Maintain accurate technical specifications for fabrics, components, and finished products.

Quality Control:
- Conduct rigorous quality control audits for woven, tricot, and knit-based products, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Review prototypes, samples, and bulk production for consistency in construction, fit, and finish.
- Implement corrective actions for quality issues, documenting and analyzing recurring problems to improve processes.

Supplier Coordination and Sourcing Support:
- Assist in identifying and onboarding suppliers skilled in woven, tricot, and knit fabric production.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost and quality goals.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers through regular communication and performance reviews.

Logistics and Coordination:
- Coordinate inbound logistics between suppliers and warehouses, ensuring timely delivery and accurate fulfillment of purchase orders.
- Address operational challenges, including transportation delays, invoice discrepancies, and delivery issues.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to streamline inbounding processes and inventory management.

Data Management and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate product information in PLM and ERP systems, specifically for fabric and apparel construction details.
- Provide insights to internal teams about production timelines, supplier performance, and quality outcomes.
- Analyze data on production efficiency, material utilization, and quality to identify areas for improvement.

Process Improvement:
- Identify challenges in production, quality control, and supplier coordination related to woven, tricot, and knit fabrics.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production workflows and improve fabric handling standards.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work with Product Development, Design, and Sales teams to ensure alignment on fabric performance and production needs.
- Provide expert recommendations on fabric selection and sourcing strategies based on project requirements.
YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE...
- Education: Degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Management, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in production or quality control roles within the apparel industry, with expertise in woven, tricot, and knit fabrics.
- Strong understanding of fabric construction and performance characteristics across woven, tricot, and knit materials.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and analytical abilities.
