Job Description Summary:

Commercial Leadership General Manager for aligned Bottler(s) and territory marketplace. Responsible and owner of adapting the Franchise Bottler Commercial plans from the Center for both Retail & Foodservice & On-Premises (FSOP). The role will act as the primary commercial & execution leader from Franchise for the field back to the center across strategic routines to influence the plans on order to drive scale. Be the Thought Leader & subject matter expert on system priorities for assigned geographies and work to ensure what is prioritized at the center shows up at scale in the market across formats. Owner for the stewardship and action planning on share of visible inventory targets, cold drink equipment (CDE) placements and net new outlet growth.

Location: This role is located in the Plano, TX office.

What You’ll Do for Us 

  • Lead connection point to center North American Operating Unit (NAOU) cross functional teams to bring Bottler(s) plans to life (i.e., Commercial, Marketing, Quality, PAC, etc.).

  • Cascades plans from trade with limited localization to Franchise Operations Managers across all channels of trade and routes to market in Bottler(s) geography.

  • In partnership with Franchise VP, lead the annual channel and customer planning process for bottlers including providing overarching direction on key strategic commercialization opportunities and delivering scalable solutions.

  • LEAD: JBP process, System Readiness, Monthly Priority communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary Commercial Leader & General Manager for aligned Franchise Bottler or Territory.

  • Commercialize, adapt, and amplify the strategy and execution for all categories with the assigned bottlers across Retail & FSOP.

  • Primary Owner of National PicOS implementation within bottler territory (Retail & FSOP).

  • Own the System Readiness updates to the center on the status across four key areas - launch plan summaries, merch element coverage, rallies / incentives, and local Customer Sell-in - and ask for help on issues with key innovations and programs.

  • Owner of commercial business reviews, existing and new plans, work to scale innovation launches to support readiness and performance against the big bets.

  • Be the thought leader and the voice of the commercial plan to assigned bottlers or territory for innovation and base businesses plan deployment and amplification.

  • Active Member and Voice of Bottler/Local Customer in NAOU routines from the center.

  • Lead the deployment of base business acceleration through the assigned geographies collectively to ensure initiatives, targets, profit, margin, and mix are delivering the intended shape of initiative.

  • Be the subject matter expert on all category deployed commercial resources including merch, subsides, allocations and sharing of best practices.

  • Continually work on aligning resources to deliver work that matters most and making hard choices.

  • Be a subject matter expert for assigned bottlers on all things in the existing plans but not to create new plans.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Master’s degree a plus

  • 15 years of broad System experience – ability to draw insights and take action 

  • Proven operational and brand experience 

  • Strong commercial planning skills 

  • Strong program management experience 

  • Strong change management capabilities 

  • Successful strategic thinking Acumen – positioning, role, occasions 

  • Effectively communicates & builds relationships at all organizational levels 

  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills across brand and IMC as well as external communications partner agencies.

  • Rapid communication of complex information and frameworks

  • Comfortable in working in ambiguity and white space and ability to build and articulate a vision and customize to particular brand, customer or constituent needs

  • Ability to create a sustaining innovation discipline in the organization and get others to buy in and support
