This is an office based role located in Rockville, Maryland

Overview
The On-site Patient Enrollment Specialist aids in the identification, outreach, pre-screening, and scheduling of potential clinical research participants. As an extension to the CCT study teams, this position will embed at our research locations with site teams to support the identification and scheduling of eligible patients into clinical trials. 

Essential Functions

  • Recruits clinical research subjects for multiple studies by answering inbound calls and outbound calls daily

  • Enters all qualifying and potential patients into company clinical trial management system.

  • Navigates and identifies potential patients in the site EMR system(s) 

  • Successfully communicates and coordinates with Physicians, Nurses, and medical staff to speak with patients during scheduled office visits 

  • Works effectively with the Clinical Research Coordinators and Site Managers to schedule appropriate subjects for screening visits

  • Reads and understands protocols and informed consents for clinical trials, and assesses subject eligibility criteria 

  • Communicates effectively with patients, clinical research coordinators, management, and other team members

  • Seeks opportunities within the community for additional outreach

  • May perform other duties not specifically listed in this job description as assigned by their immediate supervisor

Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational skills, a keen attention to detail and thorough follow through

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe)

  • Ability to use software to develop organized information sources and to provide a variety of reports

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently with precision and ability to adapt to changes in responsibilities and workloads

  • Must be professional, possess a high degree of urgency and self-motivation, and have a strong work ethic

  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, federal regulations and good clinical practices (GCP)

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $37,600.00 - $56,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
