Skilled Student Worker - Chemistry and Biochemistry Teaching Laboratories - 2024/25

JOB SUMMARY:

Skilled student worker for the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Teaching Laboratory Preparation Room

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

All the responsibilities of general office work. Cleaning glassware, stocking supplies, attending to teaching assistant laboratory supply requests and documenting inventory as it is received.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiarity with department/office procedures.

Knowledge of specific software programs as needed.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of Chemistry glassware, equipment supplies and safety procedures. Completed or registered for General Chemistry I.

 

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS:

Occasional lifting of boxes, supplies and equipment  (20 lbs on average).  Carts available for transport.
