Job Summary
The Business Analyst will support the Repair Solutions MRO business unit globally and be a key member in the Digital Transformation team to deliver high impact initiatives and contribute towards the vision of becoming the most advanced MRO business globally. Accountable for supporting projects with data, leading & governing global Business Intelligence for our business unit and delivering reports, analytics and support to improve the business.
Job Responsibilities
• Support the implementation of Digital Transformation initiatives and solutions, from original concept through to initiative roll out and solution governance by providing data, building automated work flows and performing analytics
• Provide SAP know-how of system process configuration overall and focused support for Sales and Finance teams
• Act as the intermediary between the business and global core SAP CoE
• Support data acquisition and data quality improvement efforts
• Analyze data, assess performance and continuously support the improvement of overall business processes
• Deploy automated workflows and reports through available tools in current system landscape
• Responsible for data and system support development and data integration into current ERP SAP S4 Hana or any other solutions. Resolve issues pertaining to data quality and build data pipelines to deliver data where it is needed.
• Provide specialist knowledge to system activities and data availability with the ultimate goal of improving efficiency, streamline processes and enable automation.
• Global role to support across the team covering our three Repair Solutions sites in El Cajon USA, Johor Malaysia and Trollhättan Sweden.

• Exemplifying a safety-first mind-set and ensuring compliance with the GKN Aerospace Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field of study, or in lieu of degree 3 years of engineering work experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ Years of experience in supporting with business analytics and data governance
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to program security clearance requirements and/or SSA requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• GKN experience
• Aerospace industry experience
• Experience with Business Analytics
• Experience with SAP S4 Hana ERP system
• Experience with Aerospace MRO business
• Experience with any business intelligence tools, as well as; Alteryx, Qlik, NodeRed, PowerBI, Mendix
• Programming experience in developing or interfacing software applications
• Acceptable to depend on others for instruction, guidance and direction.
• Good communication skills and understanding of why they are important
• Ability to apply basic knowledge and skills to own work o Identifies opportunities to improve performance
• Understands situations by analyzing them logically
• Able to apply basic knowledge and skills to own work and only limited by experience

Compensation Range
The Compensation range for this position is between $99,716 - 124,645.
