SUMMARY
Responsible for the management of the organizations security program ensuring appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard the company.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Risk Assessments: Serves as security consultant across the organization for large, complex risk assessments to ensure compliance with corporate information security policies, standards and best practices. Communicates to requestors, management, and executives on the inherent risk and provides meaningful mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring: Identifies and partners with control owners to consult and advise on security vulnerabilities found on current and emerging technologies to improve the enterprise information security posture.
- Projects: Proactively engage in and drive large initiatives across the enterprise for new and existing solutions and processes to implement security controls or mature our security posture.
- Policy Work: Oversee in the identification, development, and implementation of corporate security policies through our executive security council; Lead and manage policy exception approval and management processes through all levels of management.
- Educate: Lead control owners and stakeholders to actively drive the security control maturity of the organization's security program to continually improve risk position.
