We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Global FP&A to support the Financial Planning and Analysis function. As an individual contributor, you will have three areas of responsibility:
- Preparing monthly financial results presentations for senior management
- Collaborating with Corporate department heads to develop and manage their budgets
- Facilitating the global budgeting and forecasting processes
This highly visible role will provide forward-looking financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment between planned actions and company objectives. You will have exposure to senior leadership and collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to drive financial performance. This is a key position within the Global Finance team that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving complex financial challenges.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial results to senior management
- Work closely with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and regional finance teams to advocate for alignment on financial processes, reporting accuracy, and key financial initiatives
- Analyze actual financial results and key performance indicators, comparing them against the forecast and prior period results, and identifying underlying reasons for variances
- Partner with functional leaders to develop their annual budget and help them manage towards it throughout the year.
- Facilitate the global long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and cross-regional teams (US, Germany, Australia, etc.) to consolidate and align financial plans
- Play a key role in the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and FP&A planning tool to streamline budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Provide financial analysis to support data-driven decision making for strategic initiatives
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A or a related finance role, with a strong understanding of management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., complex financial modeling, data analysis, pivot tables, waterfall charts, etc.)
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating executive-level presentations
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Experience with variance analysis, and preparing written commentary explaining monthly financial results
- Experience with FP&A tools and systems; experience in tool implementation is a plus.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to senior management
- Experience with Power BI is a plus
- Experience in a global organization with exposure to international financial processes is a plus
Note: This is a hybrid position with two remote days / three in-office days per week
