The Manager is an onsite, client-facing role that supports Point B by leading large business and technical projects and programs that help our clients solve their business challenges. The Manager works across multiple industries and functional areas and leads large teams or programs involving multiple workstreams. The Manager supervises the work and day-to-day development of others and may take on formal people management responsibilities within their team. In addition, there are expectations to increase revenue by developing new business opportunities.   
Responsibilities:Leads and manages the strategic and tactical elements of the full lifecycle of large engagements and drives decision-making throughout the process to move the work forward. May occasionally take on role of Project Officer. May occasionally take on the role of Project Officer.  Collaborates with Client Lead to operate as client’s partner through all phases of an engagement; operates effectively with senior leaders at our clients.  Leads business development efforts to drive industry-focused growth. These efforts may include prospecting, lead generation, proposal development, relationship management, and closing. 
 Project Management Adapts program leadership approaches to different client situations.  Develops and manages complex program/project structures, schedules, budgets, resource plans, etc. Prepares, reviews, understands, and maintains complex project and program documentation.  Manages project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is maximized.  Provides oversight for the quality of workstreams and/or components of the project, ensuring that all deliverables meet the firm’s quality standards and client requirements.  Identifies potential risks, develops mitigation strategies, and recommends key decisions for programs.  Effectively leads meetings and drives discussions to necessary resolution to keep the project moving forward.  
Business Development Assists Active in customer growth and expansion as well as new business development and pursuit activities. Proactively, opportunistically identifies new areas where the firm can provide services to the client or to expand current work. Contributes to Client Lead to elevate opportunities and lead generation.  Grows network through exceptional client service delivery and proactive networking and maintains relationships to support Point B business development.  Develops new and innovative business development approaches and tools, and coaches/supports others on them. 
Management & Leadership Fosters a collaborative team environment that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and high performance.  Assembles and effectively leads program teams by leveraging individual strengths and abilities.  Facilitates team progress in choosing pragmatic solutions and making effective business decisions.  Has capability to serve as a 1:1 Manager   Conducts performance reviews and provides constructive feedback to help team members achieve their career goals.  Coaches and mentors Point B Team Members in developing new skills and growing their careers.  Provides peer feedback for other Team Members on their engagement(s). Consistently demonstrates and lives Point B values.
