Foxhole Technology is seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert Software Production Management Lead as part of a team of information assurance professionals in support of a critical Government program. 

 

Job Description

  • Provide program-level leadership, direction, quality assurance, and oversight for Task Order (TO) execution.

  • Lead complex software architecture, strategy, design, and development initiatives in support of mission-critical DoD systems.

  • Design and implement secure, enterprise-class DoD information and network systems within AWS GovCloud.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of cloud-based environments including development, testing, pre-production, production, and VPN-accessed systems.

  • Supervise installation, configuration, optimization, hardening, administration, and monitoring of AWS GovCloud-based infrastructure, including servers, databases, applications, network, and storage components.

  • Deliver 24/7/365 monitoring, alerting, and incident response across all system, network, and application layers.

  • Identify and resolve network design constraints, implement workarounds, and collaborate with engineers to optimize solutions.

  • Conduct proactive system checks, storage utilization reviews, log analyses, connectivity validations, and backup verifications.

  • Collaborate with Government and AWS GovCloud support contractors to rapidly troubleshoot and resolve cloud-based issues.

  • Develop and maintain secure backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies leveraging AWS Availability Zones.

  • Align architecture and operations to established information system standards and industry best practices.

  • Support the development, testing, fielding, and maintenance of operational technologies and product enhancements.

  • Review and adapt information system security policies to meet multi-tenant Government Cloud challenges.

  • Maintain technical documentation including SOPs, diagrams, and system architecture guides.

  • Lead patch management planning and implementation for all system components and infrastructure layers.

  • Facilitate Agile project management activities such as sprint planning, backlog prioritization, velocity tracking, and defect metrics.

  • Manage product development lifecycles from Epic creation to user story implementation based on stakeholder input and feedback.

  • Ensure all support and deliverables are aligned with TO requirements and enable continuous Government evaluation.

  • Deliver secure, production-ready software that meets all functional, performance, and UX standards.

  • Drive the creation of CMS platforms, analytics tools, mobile-responsive frameworks, and human-centered design solutions.

  • Support collaborative operations across functional areas, aligning efforts with DoD and U.S. Cyber Command mandates.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or closely aligned field

  • Minimum of 12 years of senior-level DoD software architecture and development experience, including work on high-availability and mission-critical systems supporting multiple military services

  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in full lifecycle Agile software development, including sprint planning, Epic and user story creation, and iterative releases

  • Proven ability to present product strategies, metrics, and roadmaps to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Progressive AWS Cloud experience
  • Extensive experience in architecture, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise software systems

  • Strong team leadership, communication, and coordination abilities with Government and internal teams

Desired Experience/Certifications

  • Active Agile certification such as PMI-ACP, Cert
