It takes a village, and at BioMarin our corporate groups are the people behind our success. Groups such as IT, Finance, Legal, Global Compliance & Ethics, and our People Team provide foundational support of all areas of operation at BioMarin.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes to identify inefficiencies.
- Use platforms like Microsoft Power Automate to document current processes and workflows, and perform gap analysis.
- Evaluate business needs and identify opportunities for RPA, chatbot solutions, and SAP enhancements using tools.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss and validate findings.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in RPA, SAP solutions, workflow automation.
- Develop and present proposals for process changes and automation opportunities to senior management.
- Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of RPA and workflow automation initiatives.
- Monitor and report on the impact of implemented changes and provide recommendations for further enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on RPA and workflow automation, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with RPA tools like UiPath, SAP systems, and workflow automation platforms like Microsoft Power Automate.
- Knowledge of chatbot platforms, MS Co-Pilot and AI technologies is a plus.
