SALARY: $52,000-$61,750, bonus eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:
Work with carrier partners and transportation coordinators to ensure on-time delivery of priority shipments for dedicated and over-the-road (common carrier) transportation across our brewery and distribution center network. Manage brewery and distribution center schedules ensuring adherence of hourly and daily capacity limits. Assist with carrier accessorial submissions through approval process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for monitoring dedicated and over-the-road freight coverage and execution priority shipments across ABI network.
- Work daily with cross functional teams such as breweries, inventory management, procurement, and Tier 1 to apply and sustain contracts with strategically aligned carrier partners.
- Manage & communicate transportation processes and execution plans to region team and management to ensure positive business results.
- Monitor carrier performance to include, but not limited to; on-time pickup, on-time delivery, ETA accuracy, freight claims, etc. Address poor performance directly with carrier to improve brewery operations and wholesaler service.
- Develop and improve carrier & brewery relationships by providing excellent customer service and communicating in a professional & solutions-oriented manner. Efforts should lead to improved on-time delivery for priority shipments and service performance.
- Work effectively as a team member within the logistics execution team. Actively participate in a positive manner to execute, support, monitor, and achieve Logistics KPIs and goals.
- Identify and implement process changes that result in improved execution in day-to-day activities.
- Address operational topics with sense of urgency and make sure operations are servicing internal SLA’s.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communications skills (telephone and email) are essential
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Operations
- Prior business or internship experience, particularly in a transportation or supply chain role
- Strong teamwork & problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with excellent follow-up skills
