Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Vision Care is recruiting for a Global Post Market Safety Medical Associate II - Fully Remote (US). Candidates local to Jacksonville, FL will be required to come into the office one day per month. This is a remote role available in all states within the United States. This position supports complaint vigilance, health authority readiness and compliance metrics, ensuring customer adverse event complaints meet global health authority requirements and customer expectations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates, investigates and documents written and telephone complaints and technical inquiries regarding Johnson & Johnson Vision Care products.
• Evaluates medical complaints, assigns appropriate classification, and determines filing requirements.
• Responsible for actively monitoring workflow and ensuring required information is provided to the Compliance team for initial and updated medical reports to support timely filing to applicable regulatory agencies.
• Positively interacts with the customer and eye care professional, educates on accurate use and potential resolution options.
• Coordinates medical expense reimbursement claims ensuring compliance to applicable company guidelines.
• Adheres to GMP regulations within complaint and medical files and other documents within the department.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

Experience and Skills

Required:

• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Strong background in medical terminology, especially as related to eye health and disorders.
• Strong background in written and oral communication.
• Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Awareness of FDA and ISO standards.

Other:

• Bilingual fluency (oral & written) in both English and Portuguese is required, addition of Spanish is preferred.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
