Per Diem Shared Living Community Support Worker (Shrewsbury, MA)

Seeking a community support worker to transport and attend outings with an individual in shared living.

3-5 hours/week on the weekends in the evenings, flexible to your availability.

Internal candidates may apply if they are currenly Part-Time employees not yet reaching 40 hours.

PAY RATE would start at $19.53 an hr up to 22.76

 

Devereux is looking for a Community Support Worker in the Shrewsbury, MA area to bring an adult individual requiring supervision into the community and accompany them based on their interests. Examples of outings may include shopping, walks, library, museums, shows, movies, etc.  This role is flexible and you can work with the family to arrange these weekly outings.  You will recieve 2 days of new hire orientation training in Rutland, followed by virtual support from the hiring manager.  This role does not require any extensive documentation.

Qualifications

For consideration, you must have:

• 21 years of age or older
• Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma/GED required
• Some experience in behavioral health required 
• Must be ok with driving within the local geography, as need

Schedule:

• 2 days in-person Devereux Orientation training in Rutland, MA (Monday & Tuesday 8-4pm)

• 3-5 hours/week on weekends/evenings, flexible scheduling availability - PART TIME ROLE
