About the role

In this role, you will support key business processes and sales operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure smooth execution of daily activities.

Key responsibilities include documenting and improving business processes, supporting bid and quoting activities, and helping organize sales team operations. You will also contribute to the development of team resources and communication materials, including newsletters and playbooks.

This position is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is interested in business operations, sales processes, and continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s degree (in progress) in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and execution skills with attention to detail
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce is a plus)
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

SCOPE of WORK: 
> Document and improve key business processes, including roles/responsibilities (RACI), parts contract onboarding, and bid intake workflows
> Organize and improve weekly sales meetings by creating clear agendas, tracking actions, and managing follow-ups and deliverables
> Map the full bid process (from request to quote to order fulfillment), identify delays or issues, and recommend improvements to make the process more efficient and reliable
> Support daily bid execution by preparing and submitting quotes for assigned transit customers
> Help build and maintain a team playbook by gathering information, updating content, and supporting rollout to the team
> Support development of a customer-facing newsletter by researching topics, organizing content, and providing recommendations
 

EDUCATION:
> Bachelor’s (in progress): Business Admin, Supply Chain / Operations, Finance / Economics, Engineering


SKILLS / TOOLS:
> Strong execution & organization skills
> Process-oriented mindset
> Clear written & verbal communication
> Excel + PowerPoint
> CRM familiarity (Salesforce a plus)
> Ownership & accountability
 

ROLE STRUCTURE: Full-time through summer, potentially converting to part-time through end of 2026.
