Production Planning Specialist

Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.

Mission: 

Prepare the production plan proposal to ensure its execution. Identify potential bottlenecks and solutions to resolve them.   Responsibilities:

• Maintain a balance between demand and supply through a monthly review of received commercial forecasts;
• Work closely with the factory planning department to ensure an appropriate balance between plant responsiveness, cost efficiency, and inventory levels;
• Analyze and manage data generated by the MRP (Production, Purchasing, and Industrial Capacity Plan);
• Develop models that allow the analysis of various planning parameters (e.g., safety stock, maximum stock levels, among others) and subsequently load these results into the MRP;
• Identify opportunities for improvement and monitor their implementation;
• Monitor production orders to the factory and their execution;
• Analyze bottlenecks and propose solutions;
• Prepare the purchasing plan (N+11) to be forwarded to the purchasing team.

  The talent we're looking for:

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Industrial Management;
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Supply Chain, Industrial Management, or Planning;
• Computer skills from a user's perspective Knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in the following IT tools: ERP, Business Intelligence, Material Resource Planning (MRP), and SAP
• Advanced Excel Good interpersonal skills and teamwork skills;
• Critical thinking and commitment;
• Good organizational skills, sense of responsibility, commitment, and autonomy.
