Position Summary

The Per Diem Operating Room Clinical Specialist plays a critical role in the successful clinical support of RECELL® procedures in the operating room. This role involves direct interaction with surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff, ensuring optimal use of RECELL for patients with traumatic injuries, burns, or other skin defects while in the non-sterile field. You will provide intraoperative support, training, and troubleshooting to clinical teams while helping to drive adoption of our technology.

This position is ideal for a motivated healthcare professional with operating room experience, ideally in trauma or burn care, who seeks flexible hours while contributing meaningfully to patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert intraoperative clinical support during RECELL procedures across assigned accounts.
• Act as a technical and clinical resource for surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff during product use.
• Ensure proper product preparation and handling in sterile environments.
• Facilitate on-site training and education to healthcare professionals.
• Support trouble-shooting and clinical questions related to RECELL technology.
• Maintain professional documentation of case support, training, and product performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience as an RN, CST, or similar clinical background.
• Availability for at least two business days per week (flexible per diem schedule).
• Experience supporting surgical procedures in trauma, burn, plastics, or wound care preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service mindset.
• Ability to travel to various hospitals/clinics within assigned territory.
• Demonstrated comfort with hands-on support in high-pressure clinical settings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport training/demo equipment as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in burn centers or Level I/II trauma centers.

Working Conditions

• Work is conducted primarily in operating rooms, burn units, and hospital settings.
• Some travel required based on regional needs.
• Per diem flexibility allows for scheduling around other professional commitments.
