Airport Security Guard

ABM is hiring an Airport Security Guard in our Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport. 

The Airport Security Guard is responsible for securing the premises, maintaining the flow of curbside airport traffic and exit doors.

SHIFTS:   4AM to 12:30PM |12PM to 8:30PM | 12AM to 8:30AM

• Full time including weekends, with one closing shift per week.
• May be scheduled for weekends and holidays when needed.
• Time and a half on Sunday’s and observed holidays.

SALARY:  $15/hr. 

• The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.  A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Securing the premises
• Preventing access by unauthorized individuals
• Directing customers
• Having good communication skills
• Being able to work under pressure
• Having awareness of correct manual handling principles
• Being able to follow and give directions
• Being able to work with a team
• Having high attention to details

  Basic  Qualifications:
  •  Must be 18 years of age or older •  No high school diploma, GED or college degree required •  No experience required and on the job training provided

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• Customer Service Experience
• 1 yr. of similar work experience
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable)
