As a Finance and Business Management - Associate, you will have the following key focus areas: supporting Executive Monthly Business Review (EMR) on a monthly basis, support monthly processes around OKRs and headcount / financial forecasts, support day-to-day business management operations with a focus towards enhancing efficiency and lead ad-hoc special projects across the portfolio.
Job Responsibilities
- Financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis
- Prepare accurate & timely consolidated monthly reports for Senior Management
- Effectively analyze and report variances of actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Establish and maintain business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain cross-functional knowledge in understanding impact of expenses in both Finance and other areas within the bank
- Drive process improvement to enhance reporting and gain efficiencies
- Demonstrate strong problem solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment
- Proactively take ownership of financial data and elevate any issues
- Complete ad-hoc research and analysis as needed
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required
- 2 years of related financial analytical experience
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
- Experience in preparing reports detailing monthly performance
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and business partners
- Strong organizational skills, including good judgment and decision making capabilities
