Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a QC Scientist Group Leader to supervise a PSS team at a client site that is expanding in Cambridge, MA.  These positions will provide testing support for the client programs in a GMP lab; perform colorimetric 96-well plate-based tests such as anthrone, uronic acid, BCA, biotin, free polysaccharide, and participate in the method qualification, validation, transfer as necessary. 

These positions will also perform trending of QC assays, reagents, assay controls, system suitability, standards; perform release and stability testing; support the SAP implementation; participate in the qualification and management of critical reagents, reference standards; assist in preparing SOP’s, technical protocols, reports, OOS/OOT/deviation investigations. 

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • Experience performing colorimetric 96-well plate-based tests
  • Experience participating in method qualification, validation and transfer
  • Experience performing release and stability testing

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in a scientific field
  • At least two years of experience working in a GMP lab
  • Leadership experience
  • Knowledge of GDP
  • Hands-on experience with plate-based assays and QC instrumentation (i.e. appearance testing, pH meter, etc.)
  • Comfortability with repetitive testing
  • Effective communication skills
  • Problem-solving ability
