In this role, you’ll design scalable, end-to-end ML solutions, from classical models to generative AI, and guide customers from concept to production. You’ll work closely with C-level leaders, data scientists, and engineers to deliver impactful, real-world AI outcomes.</p><p>📍 Work location - hybrid from Madrid</p><p>If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your CV in English.</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul><li>Design and deliver end-to-end ML solutions, including classical ML, deep learning, and generative AI</li><li>Create technical proposals, reference architectures, and deployment plans</li><li>Lead workshops, POCs, and architecture reviews with startup customers</li><li>Translate business needs into scalable ML systems</li><li>Implement distributed training workflows and LLM serving infrastructure</li><li>Build MLOps pipelines for tracking, versioning, and monitoring</li><li>Provide technical guidance to customers and internal teams</li><li>Stay up to date on ML trends and contribute to internal enablement</li><li>Frequent travels - locally (on-demand to meet with customers and partners and attend local events) and abroad (at least once a quarter).</li></ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul><li>7+ years in software engineering, data science, or ML roles</li><li>3+ years deploying ML solutions in production</li><li>Hands-on experience with AWS ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock, etc.)</li><li>Experience with distributed training (Horovod, Ray, etc.)</li><li>Proven work with generative AI and LLM applications</li><li>Strong Python and ML framework skills (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)</li><li>Experience with MLOps practices and tools</li><li>Strong communication and customer-facing skills</li><li>Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform – an advantage</li><li>AWS ML Specialty or Solutions Architect certification – an advantage</li><li>Experience with vector DBs, RAG systems, or edge ML – an advantage</li><li>Master’s degree in a relevant field – an advantage</li><li>Industry-specific experience (finance, healthcare, etc.) – an advantage</li></ul> <h3>Benefits</h3> <ul><li>Professional training and certifications covered by the company (AWS, FinOps, Kubernetes, etc.)</li><li>International work environment</li><li>Referral program – enjoy cooperation with your colleagues and get a bonus </li><li>Company events and social gatherings (happy hours, team events, knowledge sharing, etc.)</li><li>English classes</li><li>Soft skills training</li></ul><p>Country-specific benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.</p><p>Automat-it is committed to fostering a workplace that promotes equal opportunities for all.
