What You’ll Be Doing
The Supervisor, NC Technicians is responsible for ensuring the Intoxalock interlock devices are correctly and efficiently installed and maintained in customer vehicles. This includes installations, recalibrations, removals, and more. Should there be issues involved in the installation or wiring of the Intoxalock equipment, the Supervisor will be responsible for diagnosing the issue & providing a solution. The Supervisor and Technicians are also required to provide activation instructions & training to customers. The Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining staffing levels in their region and coverage of each North Carolina location to adhere to the state regulations and posted days/hours of operation.
- Installation, calibration, repair and removal of breath alcohol ignition interlock devices in accordance to state program rules.
- Provide technical support to customers
- Facilitate on-site training of customers with the activation and operation of an ignition interlock device.
- Install Intoxalock interlock devices into customer vehicles
- Troubleshoot/diagnose reports of malfunctioning devices
- Report any suspicion of equipment tampering or attempt-to-bypass.
- Follow all Intoxalocks-specified procedures, which include but are not limited to, the requirement of connected all state-specified components.
- Maximize installations and client growth
- Provide Lead Technical support to technicians and clients
- Train & Develop new Technicians and Technician Trainees
- Maintain coverage at each location to adhere to state regulations and hours/days of operation
- Provide coverage and/or assist other locations when short staffed
- Assist with and complete various tasks assigned by Manager
- All other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- High School Diploma or GED is required, plus 1-2 years leadership experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with 12-volt, reading schematics, and troubleshooting installations.
- Ability to travel between service centers; ~50% travel
- Must have excellent communication skills and good working relationships with other employees
- Installation and servicing stereo, alarm, remote start or similar systems are preferred.
- High quality installation experience, intermediate knowledge of automotive wiring
- Experience with problem solving and resolving conflict.
