Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Lead Design Engineer to assist with our projects in Middleburg Heights! 

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Design Engineer will be responsible for technical accuracy of project design details and plans, including:

• Assigning projects to design staff
• Monitoring and meeting project schedules and budgets
• Mentoring/assisting design staff to complete projects
• Reviewing plans prepared by staff, preparing submittals to review agencies (OEPA, NEORSD, CWD, Utility Companies, etc.)
• Preparing bidding documents / specifications
• Assisting the Project Manager with Construction Administration
• Communicating with Project Managers, Senior staff and Management 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. 
• PE license preferred.
• Civil 3d proficiency required.  
• 6 to 10 years of experience managing the design of municipal sewer, water main, and non-odot roadway projects.  
• Experience with residential subdivision and commercial site development a plus.
