Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer (Full Stack). In this role, you will develop new product features, work closely with a development team, help to maintain existing an existing product baseline. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of at least one modern programming language (C#, Java, Python, etc.), familiarity with modern software development concepts (CI/CD, Micro-Service Oriented Architecture, Containerization, Agile Development).
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a software, engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
Experience with at least one modern programming language: C#/C++, Java, Python, Go, Rust, Ruby.
Demonstrated growth mindset.
Desired skills
Proficiency with one or more of the following software languages: Java, Python, C#.
Candidate will have knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards, unit testing and configuration management, database and System administration.
Self-motivated with strong teamwork and organizational skills.
Experience with automated build, test, continuous delivery and deployment.
Familiarity with modern software development concepts such as CI/CD, Micro-Service Oriented Architectures, Containerization, Infrastructure as Code, Agile Development.
Ability to maintain TS/SCI Clearance.
