Concierge/Resident Services Staff For 2024 Season

Description

This position provides maintenance services such as pine needle pick up/debris removal, moving help, snow removal, and other maintenance tasks requested from the member. The primary focus of the Concierge/Maintenance Staff is to provide excellent and aesthetically pleasing work for all the members of the club.

Examples of Duties (not an all-inclusive list):

· Dog Walking/Pet Sitting

· Yard Work

· Pine Needle Pick Up

· Shuttle Driving (must be 21 years of age or have had driver license for no less than 3 years)

· Grocery Shopping

· In House Care (prepare meals, entertain, and engage, spend time with and run errands for members)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

· Two years of High School or High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

· Current CPR/First Aid certification (opportunities to obtain these are available through Forest Highlands upon being hired).

· Clean background check

· Basic knowledge of maintenance duties, country club and golf course operations.

· Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

· Must be self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.

· Organized, able to work in a busy environment where the priorities are changing.

· Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks during busy times while working flexible hours with an enthusiastic personality.

· Must be reliable.

· Passion for serving guests.

Preferred Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

· 1 to 3 years of related experience in a private club; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.

· CPR/First Aid and AED certified

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Position is in a busy golf/country club in a private residential community.
• Flexibility in schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs regularly; up to 50lbs occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull.
• Must be able to frequently walk, sit, stand, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, adjust vision accordingly (close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception)
• Exposed to outside weather conditions including low temperatures.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and a quiet work environment.
• Continuous ability to talk and hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Equipment/Chemicals Used: 14-passenger vehicles (Van and Shuttle), Snow Blowers, Leaf Blowers, shovels, rakes,

Hourly Wage: $18.75 - $20.00 per hour depending on job being completed
