Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring maximum availability, utilization, and productivity of mining equipment by providing technical assistance/acquisition of parts and materials by coordinating various contractor activitiesJob Description
Key Accountabilities
Provide technical assistance to maintenance for equipment and personnel scheduling to ensure maximum availability, utilization, and availability to support mine operations.
Utilize available resources to maintain accurate, detailed, and acceptable records of equipment and components to ensure timely and effective maintenance.
Order materials and equipment as required under normal and/or emergency conditions to meet the needs of a mining site.
Coordinate the shipping, repair and return of mine equipment and parts to meet production requirements in a cost effective and timely manner.
Comply with safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Interface with maintenance staff, mine site operations groups, other TXU personnel, and vendors/contractors to ensure consistent, practical, and effective maintenance support.
Participate in special projects and committee assignments as requested.
Education, Experience requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Five years related maintenance/materials experience that promotes development in the areas described by the essential duties, responsibilities, and scope of this job.
Related experience in mining in addition to the minimum requirements.
PC skills and good working knowledge of various applications (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, etc.)
