We Are:

Accenture Federal Services is dedicated to developing and deploying secure, scalable software solutions that support mission-critical government operations. As a Junior Software Developer, you will play a foundational role in designing, coding, and testing applications that enhance federal digital transformation efforts. 

The Work:

You will design, develop, and deploy backend applications, ensuring high-performance and seamless integration within mission-critical systems. Your work will contribute to software efficiency, security, and user accessibility across government programs. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and test backend software solutions using widely used programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, and .NET. 

• Deploy and optimize applications, ensuring functionality and security compliance. 

• Collaborate across teams, supporting software lifecycle management in Agile environments. 

• Implement backend frameworks, ensuring efficient and scalable software operations. 

• Troubleshoot and enhance application performance, contributing to technical optimizations. 

Here's What You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field. 
• 3 years of software development experience 
• Experience with Java, J2EE
• Experience with software lifecycle processes
• Agile/Scrum experience 
• Strong familiarity with backend frameworks, code design patterns, and industry best practices. 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
