About the role

The team you'll be a part of

  • NW Design & Optimisation (NWD) comprises the planning and/or managing the planning of communication networks for customers. 
  • Covers consultation of customers on communication network performance. 
  • Contains optimization and/or managing of the optimization of customer networks. 
  • Covers the execution of end-to-end design-related activities (address surveys, site surveys, design, and as-built) for deployment projects.

     

As part of our team, you will: 

  • Perform routine network performance assessments, audits, and enhancements (optimization).
  • Performs and contributes to technical tasks on customer projects according to project plan Utilizes performance & optimization tools to perform field measurements and laboratory tests. 
  • Provides input into optimization use cases for automation, and automates optimization-related activities. Performs trace analysis, network and service optimization Works with the project team and assigned customer interfaces on network performance & optimization tasks. 
  • Solves straight-forward problems with knowledge in own area

     

Your skills and experience 

 You have: 

  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field 
  • Passion for technology, problem-solving, and customer engagement 
  • Great team and communication skills, fluent English is expected 
  • High motivation to work in an international corporation and to face the challenges and opportunities of digital change 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Tools: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, Visio, etc. 

It would be nice if you also had: 

  • Previous intern or co-op experience at Nokia.
  • Analytical skills and curiosity.
  • High flexibility, initiative, and commitment. 
  • Keen to continuously learn, develop, and grow.
  • Actively seek and provide feedback.
