The Talent Acquisition Specialist, University Relations plays a key role in our company’s Future Talent Program and reports into the Associate Director, University Relations. The ideal candidate would have a strong talent acquisition and university recruiting focus, the ability to handle competing priorities, and the capability to build and maintain integral client relationships both internally and externally.
Key activities will include:
Owning the entirety of the future talent recruiting and selection process, from requisition creation through offer acceptance and onboarding for the assigned client group(s).
Interfacing directly with internal stakeholders and client groups to advise on strategy, best practices, and benchmarking the external market in consultation with the Senior Specialist.
Liaising with assigned campus partners, career services offices, student organizations, other key external stakeholders and partners.
Working in close partnership with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and divisional business leaders to align strategic priorities and ensure the company is well-positioned.
Attending campus recruitment events and conferences.
Supporting department-wide initiatives, projects, and efforts.
Required Experience:
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED with 3-4 years of experience in a talent acquisition function or a bachelors degree with 1-2 years in a talent acquisition function.
Excellent written & verbal communication, relationship building, multi-tasking and presentation skills, and attention to detail.
Previous applicant tracking experience (Workday preferred).
Strong skills with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Ability to travel up to 35% during peak times (contingent on health & safety protocols).
Preferred Experience:
Prior candidate relationship management (CRM) experience (PhenomPeople preferred).
Campus recruiting preferred.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry or research & development.
Previous university relations experience.
