Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Senior Project Manager to join our Enterprise Project Management Organization (EPMO). This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring seamless execution of client-facing and internal projects that support our enterprise goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in benefits administration systems and a proven track record of managing complex projects across methodologies and stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate client-facing projects, ensuring alignment between client needs and internal execution teams.
• Manage internal initiatives that support client success, including operational improvements and strategic growth efforts.
• Occasionally oversee enterprise-wide internal projects, such as technology implementations and efficiency programs.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans using tools like Smartsheet and Jira, applying Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and executive stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure projects contribute to client health, growth, and cost savings objectives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• 5–10 years of experience in benefits administration systems and/or client-facing roles.
• 2–5 years of direct project or program management experience.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Proficiency in Smartsheet, Jira, and other project tracking tools.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
