The Program in Physical Therapy at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis has an opening for a full-time Clinical Research Study Assistant to join the Shoulder Biomechanics and Rehabilitation laboratory led by Rebekah Lawrence, PT, PhD.Our lab is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with shoulder pain by investigating the movement-related factors associated with shoulder pathology, symptom manifestation, and functional decline. Our approach is to conduct rigorous, clinically relevant research that integrates clinical assessment, diagnostic imaging, and state-of-the-art methods of assessing human movement with the passion and expertise of a multi-disciplinary research team. The successful applicant shares this passion and will be integral to the labβs success by assisting with data collection and processing.

Normal office/research lab environment with various levels of pressure due to multiple tasks.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains and updates site demographics on computer database; logs forms received and file as appropriate; prepares reports from database to include weekly reports and other reports as requested.
Following training, assists with data collection and processing as directed by Research Coordinator or PI.
Receives and disseminates study-related regulatory documents and correspondence; assists in screening documents for completeness and compliance with protocol and appropriate regulations; assists in investigating incomplete, inaccurate or missing documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
Communicates and coordinates with other study personnel as required for study implementation and routine problem resolution.
Attends routine meetings and other meetings related to the clinical research; stays abreast of information and any changes to study protocol.
