At Smart Pediatric Dentistry, we’re seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Assistant who enjoys working with children and thrives in a team-driven, upbeat atmosphere.  We have been providing care to our community for over 20 years. This position would be in our Vineyard office as it is a new office that is growing fast! We do need someone that can go to multiple locations, including Pleasant Grove. Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare treatment rooms
   
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments & equipment
   
• Assist during routine and complex pediatric procedures
   
• Take and process dental x-rays, maintain x-ray equipment
   
• Record treatment notes, vitals, medical histories
   
• Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to families
   
• Manage dental supplies, fabricate temporary restorations

Requirements

• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience is preferred 
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA/DANB) or equivalent; RDA preferred but not required
• Experience in pediatric dental settings is a plus  
• Proficient with dental software, x-ray equipment, and infection control  
• Excellent communication skills, especially with children and parents  
• CPR/First Aid certification required  
• Positive attitude, team player, and flexible in a fast-paced clinic
