Summary:
This is a part-time position. The Coordinator provides assistance to the Director and handles general office administrative duties, answering both staff and students’ inquires, answering phone and email inquiries, booking rooms and ordering catering for various events, and provided support to the Director of Marshall-Brennan and other members of the team as needed.
The incumbent will mail invoices and other items to other law school chapters and external constituents of the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project and assist with the planning and implementation events, including the Youth Law Summit, Regional and National Moot Court Competitions. Provides administrative and logistical support for all Marshall-Brennan events.
Essential Functions:

1.) Day-to Day Operation
Coordinate the daily administrative activities of the program, including but not limited to calendar management, room reservations, travel arrangements (local and national), and document preparation.
Manage and maintain the general email inbox.
Reconciling charges on Marshall-Brennan accounts.
2.) Event/Program Planning
Assist in planning and coordinating in-person and virtual programs and events.
Collaborate with internal staff members to schedule and plan Marshall-Brennan visits.
Assist in evaluating and reporting the Program impact and success in DCPS and nationwide.
3.) Communication/Marketing
Assist with marketing and communications, including developing and distributing promotional materials and maintaining the Program’s social media accounts.
Serve as a direct liaison with internal and external constituents, including Marshall-Brennan Teaching and Dean’s Fellows, prospective teaching fellows, current students, affinity groups, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and community members, including but not limited to DC Public School administrators.
4.) Other Duties as Assigned
Support other administrative functions in the program as needed and/or directed.

Salary Range:
$23-$25 per hour.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Part-time hours.
Up to 27 hrs weekly.
Required Education and Experience:
Associate's degree.
2-4 years of relevant experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in program coordination or student program administration.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Expert knowledge of general office software (email, word processing, spreadsheets, publishing).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with marketing communications, including online marketing and social media.
