Job Description
Location:
New York, NYWIRED seeks a web producer to support the commerce team. This person should be a quick learner when it comes to software of all types, comfortable working from an editorial calendar, and be able to work quickly to build and edit content in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build commerce stories, including galleries and product pages, in CMS
Identify, implement, and track deliverables on commerce partnerships
Build and maintain coupons shops, writing copy for coupons and inputting copy from writers
Optimize revenue on outbound commerce links including CPC-driven link switchovers
Work closely with editors, photo editors, and writers to gather and label creative assets for posts
Work with video team to identify commerce opportunities and create links
Build and deploy newsletters
Optimize and submit content for Apple News
Organize, resize, and lightly edit image assets
Create and maintain workflow documents, production manuals, and process one-sheets
Conduct research for data analysis projects to be presented to stakeholders including at Trade Meetings
Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
Comfort working with multiple CMSs and revenue tracking tools
Knowledge and familiarity of the Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge and familiarity with Excel and other spreadsheets
Basic understanding of newsletters
Excellent design, layout, photography, or video skills
Interest in writing, communication, and copy editing a plus
This is a guild position.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $65,000-$77,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
