AI Engagement and Delivery Lead to Vestas AI Center of Enablement

Then you might be the Engagement and Delivery Lead we are looking for to join our AI Center of Enablement (CoE) and play a key role in our efforts to accelerate value capture from AI across Vestas.

The AI Center of Enablement aims to partner across the organization to raise the bar for what we can achieve with machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). We are the internal advisors, direction setters, and enablers on all-things-AI within Vestas. This includes formulating and executing the AI strategy, acting as technical consultants in adoption of AI solutions from external vendors, working with cyber, legal, and data governance to ensure the responsible use of AI, and last - but not least - partnering with business and technical stakeholders to shape, build, and deliver impactful custom AI solutions that allow us to reinvent core business models and customer offerings.

The AI CoE is part of Vestas’ newly established Digital Solutions organization responsible for driving end-to-end digitalization of Vestas over the coming years. As part of the Data Products and Platform Area, we co-build with product delivery teams within and beyond Digital Solutions to leverage cross-functional competences for impactful ML solution delivery, maturing our AI platform capabilities and enabling AI adoption across the company.

 

Responsibilities

As an AI Engagement and Delivery Lead, you will play a key role in establishing our enterprise-wide ability to capture value from AI. You will be responsible for:

• Driving our efforts to inspire, educate and communicate about what is possible with AI, and how to capture the value from AI (e.g. facilitate internal communication, community building, events, content creation, promote knowledge sharing and best practices etc.).
• Facilitating AI opportunity spotting across the organization and managing projects focused on AI (e.g. implementation and adoption of AI and genAI, maturing processes, governance, and strategy).
• Continuous development and maturing of processes and frameworks for AI value capture across the organization (e.g. principles for build vs. buy, responsible AI, engagement frameworks, etc).
• Be the first point-of contact of the AI CoE for internal questions on everything-AI and facilitate team related administrative activities.
• Practice what you preach: Be our tech savvy ‘citizen data scientist’ who cannot stop exploring how the latest AI developments are best leveraged by Vestas employees to capture business value.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you need to be a highly motivated, energetic, and self-driven person, who can work independently and collaboratively with a diverse set of stakeholders. We imagine that you have most of the qualifications and competences below:

• A master’s degree or higher in business, digital, communication or a related field, with a strong interest in technology and AI.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience from a similar role.
• Experience with managing the delivery of technical solutions (and preferably AI) with agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated passion for new technology and its potentials.
• Experience with engaging broad audiences, developing targeted content and facilitating events.
